Charcoal Animation

A series of animation experiments created in Charcoal

An experiment with charcoal. I was nervous for some reason to draw with charcoal – now I don’t know why, it’s is such a lovely medium. It gives instant depth. I am quite addicted to it now. I decided to try making a short video of it.

I didn’t have a cable to tether the camera to the computer and the lighting wasn’t great so I did a bit of Photoshopping.

The audio was recorded at Dorathyvale, the beautiful farm owned by friends, in Tamworth NSW. 2018.
